Responsibilities

  • Drives strategic and daily execution of Parker Aerosapce communication program, adhering to company branding and marketing strategies. Directs group use of all key communication solutions (digital, print, events, media relations, online, video, other).
  • Leads Parker Aerospace efforts in planning and executing major industry trade shows.
  • Supports members of Parker Aerospace divisions and teams to help them accomplish their objectives through targeted and appropriate communication vehicles and tactics.
  • Serve as spokesperson to members of the media, acting as a liaison between Parker Aerospace and members of the press. Directs media relations initiatives, both proactive and reactive.
  • Leads communication team and it’s members. Drives performance and supports professional development of individual team members.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor of arts degree in communications, journalism, English literature, mass media, marketing, or related field. Master of Business Administration or other relevant graduate degree preferred.
  • Ten or more years of major professional accomplishments including increasing responsibility and leadership of projects and teams of considerable size, scope and complexity for seven or more years.
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in the use of all key communication vehicles (digital, print, events, media relations, online, video, other).
  • Demonstrated success in generating and implementing a global communications strategy from concept to completion using metrics to iterate and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization, and project management skills.
