  • The LORD Divisions headquartered in Cary, NC are seeking a dynamic team member to join its Information Technology Engineering and Quality Tools organization.
  • In this position, you will be part of a team that is responsible for maintaining Engineering tools, Quality Systems and Digital Operations Information Technology systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of engineering and operations business process. Supported CAD/CAM, PLM, PDM, Quality, Engineering, Digital Operations, or similar systems applications.
  • Support Factory of the Future (FoF) initiatives by helping plan, execute and supporting the tools being implemented
  • Identify business processes to automate and implement RPA to support

  • Demonstrate understanding of business processes, technologies, and best practices within your functional area(s) of support.
  • Keep existing systems up to date and secure by upgrading, enhancing, and patching systems. Ensure compliance to IT Security, SOX, compliance regulations and policy for applications within domain.
  • Triage and remediate Incidents and Requests in ticketing system for supported applications.
  • Act as a liaison between Parker LORD Business Partners and IT to identify opportunities to introduce new and enhanced information technology solutions supporting user base.
  • Determine potential impact of current and emerging technology, industry, and market trends; translate into actionable IT investments/projects and champion prioritization aligned to Corporate, Functional and IT strategies and priorities.
  • Familiarity with, or desire to learn about, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and identify how/where it can be used to improve areas within Manufacturing processes. Build and maintain the RPA to support the digital transformation of supported areas.
  • Document impact of moving systems from division to corporate level. Understand current work processes and how new systems will change processes to lessen impact on users.
  • Provide support for internal applications written in C# and Microsoft SQL.

    Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Ability to analyze issues and challenges and provide solutions within assigned Area.
  • Experience with enterprise and desktop applications. Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of Linux servers and previous experience supporting applications running on Linux.
  • General understanding of programming language basics.
  • Experience supporting plant automation.
