• Works under the direction of the Plant Quality Manager to execute and maintain quality processes and systems for the value streams • Assists in the execution of the daily incoming and outgoing inspection activities • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and other related documentation • Interacts with internal customers to accurately document quality issues • Documents and maintains nonconformance reports and effectively communicates issues internally • Enters transactions to appropriately move material and creates Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR) to detail the reasons • Assigns action items to appropriate person and follows up on resolution • Participates in cross functional teams and High-Performance Teams (HPT) • Facilitates annual calibration efforts • Performs internal audit of production and office environments • Understands and follows quality system processes • Follows established safety and environmental policies, procedures, and methods applicable to the work environment • Performs other duties as necessary, including recommendations for improvement of processes

• 1 – 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. • Associates degree in an applied science, trade school degree or a high school diploma with equivalent experience (minimum of 1 years in a quality or inspection role in a manufacturing environment) • Working experience in an ISO environment is preferred. • Self-motivated and the ability to re-prioritize tasks to meet organizational needs • Ability to follow directions with an attention to detail • Ability to effectively communicate to team members and leaders in a cross-functional environment • Aptitude to read part drawings and appropriate tools to measure features • General knowledge of inspection techniques, quality/statistical tools, instruments/equipment, and general business operations • Computer skills including MS Office, e-mail and ability to learn Parker business systems • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Ability to effectively work in a team-oriented atmosphere to establish and maintain effective quality systems as well as taking appropriate corrective action to continually improve • Able to learn quickly and work effectively without direct supervision. • Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude for testing functionality of components preferred. • Prefer familiarity with electronics, motors, electro-mechanical products, product documentation, and regulatory agency requirements preferred. • Familiarity with production/manufacturing environment preferred.
