Broad responsibility and leadership for overall operation of the cylinder and engineered systems Value Streams. Implements the Parker Lean system and Win Strategy to ensure a safe work environment, maximize profitable growth, drive quality improvements, provide premier customer service, develop a technically qualified work force, reduce operating costs, inventories, and lead-times through continuous improvements. Oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly expectations.

• Ownership of Value Stream P&Ls. • Establishes and maintains premier customer service at all times. • Leads strategy deployment for the Plant initiatives and growth. • Accountable for driving Lean initiatives throughout the Plant. • Creates and Implements factory automation strategies to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery • Meets with the Value Stream Leaders regularly, reflecting on problems, solutions, and challenges, thereby creating a culture of continuous improvement, and contributing towards becoming a learning organization. • Ensures the Value Streams have proper inventory, production control scheduling, shipping/receiving logistics and quality procedures in place. • Develops a budget plan and manages the Value Streams within budget constraints. • Maintains familiarity with competitive environment. • Provides leadership by promoting high performance team concepts, coaching, counseling, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development. Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management. • Creates the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment. • Utilizes PDCA in conjunction with the Tracking Centers and Team Improvement Boards to ensure results • Ensures Value Stream Supervisors provide effective cross-training for the team members, including backups from other areas, to assure a continuous smooth running Value Stream. • Develop the future state Value Stream map and manages the plans to achieve it, as documented in the Site Tracking Center. In addition, the Value Stream Manager works with the Value Stream Supervisors and Team Leads to maintain the Team Improvement Boards (TIB) . • Create and Implement an automated factory technology roadmap including CNC machining centers, machine tending, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), automated assembly and test • Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline is required (Engineering Degree preferred) • Minimum of ten years experience leading a team in a Manufacturing Environment • Working knowledge of CNC, general machining, and assembly • Understanding of factory automation including robotics and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) • Demonstration of lean fundamentals in a manufacturing environment. • Experience managing a large P&L • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving / resolution skills and a team focus • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to effectively and persuasively present information to Management, customers, and employees. • Good understanding of ISO Quality System • Teamwork and team building skills • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic linear actuators • Understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatic systems • Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations and WSIB • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Problem Solving • Financial literacy
