Responsibilities:
  • Involvement with projects as our Configuration Management (CM) representative team member
  • Generate and release proper internal CM/DM documents to various Customers
  • Serve as backup to manage and submit proper program data thru multiple Commercial/Military Customer Portals
  • Learn to establish and define program data management requirements
  • Build and maintain long-term working relationship with customers, engineers, Program Managers, departments and internal business partners and stakeholders
  • Eventually become familiar with our Product Lifecycle Management (EPDM) System, Change Control Board, continuous improvement projects and process improvements (capable of navigating the production change control process via ENOVIA, Solumina and Traveler approval)
  • Organize and maintain the division engineering drawing and document database (both paper and electronic - CATIA) in efficient, secure and working order
  • Gain knowledge in continuous improvement projects to streamline internal process and workflow involving EPDM
  • Support our aftermarket OEM product issues, in-field failures, production/supplier issues and process improvements
  • Maintains a business metric system for engineering performance measurement
  • Ensures use and compliance of standard Global Aerospace Engineering document templates
  • Attends and participates in Customer & AS9100 audit/assessment/surveillance regarding familiarity with CM policy, procedure and report templates for consistency and efficiency

    Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems and obtain any required Export Authorization Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through two or more years of related experience.
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Engineering or related experience to include Configuration and Data Management (DM) experience in a DoD environment
  • Familiar with configuration management (CM) principles and practices; preferred 1 - 2 years proven direct product CM experience (Product structure, parts, drawings and requirements management)
  • Preferred knowledge and experience with the following software; ENOVIA, Integrity, Sharepoint, RS6000, Solumina and CATIA.
  • Familiar with the aerospace industry and environment
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (EPDM) and/or data management toolsets for configuration management of complex products
  • Possess high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, maintain high quality work and standardization
