Position Summary
Our Quick Coupling Division in Chetek, WI is looking for a new Production Supervisor to help keep the world moving. You will advocate and support the Corporate WIN Strategy by managing and improving the safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture/morale of a production area.

What Is a Quick Coupling?
Parker’s Quick Coupling Division is the largest manufacturer of quick couplings in the world. A quick coupling is used to provide a fast, make-or-break connection of fluid or gas transfer lines. Our Chetek, WI plant provides critical equipment for many different industries including Agriculture, Construction, and Fire & Rescue teams.

Aspects of Your Work

  • Promote and enforce compliance of safety policies and procedures.  Conduct safety investigations and audits.  Address safety non-compliance and promote safety culture.
  • Motivate and empower team members.  Coach Group Leaders to motivate and empower team members.  Develop Group Leaders by constructing and executing development plans.  Coach Group Leaders to develop team members in their assigned areas.
  • Work with team members to identify continuous improvement opportunities by facilitating HPT's and TIB's.  Lead and facilitate Kaizen events to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.  Manage planning of projects and the execution to the project plan.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to quality utilizing HPT's for continuous improvement.  Ensure quality standards are met.  Problem solves with applicable team members and ensure countermeasures are implemented for CAPAs for their assigned departments.
  • Perform capacity analysis using build plans.  Determine staffing requirements for the assigned production area.  Ensure that departmental productivity targets are met to meet customer requirements.  Troubleshoot scheduling and material issues.
  • Develop and deploy standardized work instructions of assigned department(s).  Ensure process stability through following standardized work.
