POSITION SUMMARY:

To supervise the maintenance activity through the implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance programs and ongoing maintenance repair program for all buildings and grounds.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Coordinate and perform maintenance of building, gournds and equipment used to run the facility.

- Procurement of necessary materials to maintain and improve the facility.

- Provide risk assessment and mitigation of critical equipment and services.

- Make recommendations on building maintenance needs and improvements.

- Facilitate and assist in changes to, fixes to, or additions to the compressed air, electrical, gas, water,  

  drain, HVAC, storage racks, existing or new structure, and other items considered part of the facility.

- Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment performance using appropriate instrumentation.

- Facilitate and perform skilled maintenance activities in areas of responsibility.

- Prepare accurate records for preventative and predictive maintenance.

- Be familiar with OSHA rules and regulations as well as ISO certification requirements.

- Use and maintain computerized maintenance management programs.

- Manage new construction projects to the facility and work with contractors from quote to completion.

- Read blueprints and schematics.

- General computer skills required (Microsoft Office, Web based systems, etc).

- Ability to operate basic machine tools required.

- General machinery operation and function knowledge.

- Maintain good housekeeping practices and safe work habits.

- Perform related work as required

- Performance and attendance must meet that of quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR POSITION:

- Must be able to read blueprints and schematics

- Be able to use Laptop/Notebook computer for machine program diagnostics.

- Be able to diagnose problems with process machinery and repair the problem.

- Experience with operating hand tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment.

PHYSICAL TRAITS:

Standing, bending, and occasional lifting of 65 pounds.
