A diverse and expanding group of skilled information technology professionals contribute significantly to Parker’s business objectives, and play a critical role in their long-term success

This programme is a rotational over 2 years where you will work through four placements, gaining exposure to their Global Corporate IT function in addition to experience of how IT supports their manufacturing business.

IT Graduate Program Start 

Date: September 1, 2024

 You will have the opportunity to work within the business systems teams (for example, supporting the systems that run our manufacturing and supply chains, digital selling, and finance technology) as well as an understanding of the IT Infrastructure and security. You will also spend two of your placements out in their manufacturing sites, working on projects with their divisional IT Teams.

During the rotational program you will participate in team projects and gain an understanding of the roles and tools required for successful development and implementation of IT Services.

You will assist other team members in the delivery of quality solutions and execution on work tasks; providing implementation support (guiding users through resolution), managing open issues, and escalating as needed.

You will also develop leadership through educating other team members on new knowledge gained, formal training, mentoring and business experiences.

What can you expect:

•  Work within the business systems teams (for example, supporting the systems that run our shared service centers, finance technology, process automations, supply chains, digital selling) as well as an understanding of the IT Infrastructure and security.
• Participate in team projects and gain an understanding of the roles and tools required for successful development and implementation of IT Services.
• Explore potential synergies between digital transformation initiatives and develop technical specifications and solutions.
• Work with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Teams to develop automation solutions with use of various technologies (hyper automation) and scripting languages
• Assist other team members in the delivery of quality solutions and execution on work tasks; providing implementation support (guiding users through resolution), managing open issues, and escalating as needed
• Take responsibility for your own projects

How to be successful: 

• An interest in the field of Digitalization, Technology and Process Automation
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT
• Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
• Initiative, self-starter approach, and strong communications skills
• Geographical flexibility to move to any Parker location both during and upon completion of the program
• Fluent in English and a second language would be beneficial.
