Division Operations Manager

Accountable for all operations and maintenance within the Exotic Metals Forming Division to achieve the results identified by the corporate WIN Strategy, annual improvement priorities and long-term strategic plan. Leads a team of empowered employees to continuously meet and exceed customer expectations. Passion for our mission and vision is a prerequisite for this role. This position will be based at our division headquarters in Kent, Washington, working closely with the Parker Aerospace Group.

  • Any other duties as assigned to help drive our vision, fulfill our commitments, and carry out our organization's virtues. 
  • Provide dedicated support to the General Manager and collaborate closely with the leadership team to profitably grow the business and achieve division, group, and organizational objectives
  •  Build relationships with current and potential customers to promote and leverage company technologies, systems, products, and services.
  •  Lead customer experience strategy to establish and maintain premier customer service.
  • Lead the division operations strategy with a focus on lean initiatives and asset management to drive operational and financial excellence
  •  Leads strategy deployment for the operation concentrating on manufacturing and process engineering, asset management and leveraging lean initiatives and to drive operational efficiency and financial excellence.
  •  Drive accountability to lean initiatives throughout the operation to ensure they are fully embraced and implemented.
  • Ensure the operation has adequate inventory, production control scheduling, shipping/receiving logistics.
  •  Develop a budget plan and manages operation within budget constraints.
  • Maintain familiarity with competitive environment within geographical areas of responsibility.
  • Promote high performance team concepts to drive productivity, efficiency, engagement, empowerment, and profitability.
  • Plan and manage internal communication, including All Hands, and drive engagement, empowerment and collaboration Identify organizational gaps, recommend solutions, and foster cross-group collaboration and synergies Collaborate with leaders to set and track business goals and drive cross-team process improvements Partner with the Division Human Resources Manager to ensure organizational health and workforce align with business objectives, including hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.
  • Partner with the Division Environment, Health, and Safety Manger to foster a culture of safety and proactivity that spans across all operational aspects of the division. Ensure adherence to all organizational policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Lead special projects, including the design and delivery of high-impact, cross-team projects to meet the evolving business environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business)
  • Ten or more years of experience working directly with EHS, engineering, supply chain, finance, HR, maintenance, and/or quality functions.
  • Five or more years of experience as a people manager
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead extensive cross-group and cross functional coordination at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Track record of demonstrating a wide range of analytical capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to develop compelling internal presentations, customer facing content, and comprehensive business review materials
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and simultaneously work across multiple levels and organizational interfaces
  • Knowledge and strong fundamentals in project management approaches and techniques
  • Experience leading and managing high performance teams on fast-paced projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration, MBA
  • PMP certification
  • Lean six sigma certifications

Bonus

The wage range for this role considers allowances for a number of factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, licensure/certifications, education, and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $168,140 - $294,214.
