The Hydraulic and Industrial Process Filtration EMEA (HIFE) division has several Reporting Units covering key market sectors which include Oli & Gas/Chemicals, Mobile, Marine and Power Generation. Employing c270 employees and with locations in the UK, Nordics, Belgium and the Czech Republic, the division brings together expertise in diverse and complex markets.   This position can be based at the division’s locations in the UK, Finland or the Czech Republic.

Reporting to the Division Marketing Manager, the Market Development Manager (Mobile) leads the divisional product and service promotion to a specified market sector on a unified, multi-reporting unit basis, in order to develop solution strategies to fit customer needs and to maximize sales and profit by focusing on share gain of the customer spend. Market responsibility will be regional covering countries and Sales Companies belonging to Parker EMEA region.

  • Support local sales companies to maximize the HIFE content in mobile market customers in Parker EMEA region.
  • Develop, influence and execute the sales and marketing strategy for selected customers together with collaboration with relevant account managers.
  • Has ownership of market share growth and its reporting to division and group management on periodic basis.
  • Manage the virtual account team for the entire HIFE product portfolio to meet the customer needs and future business requirements related to mobile market.
  • Formulate, develop and implement a business plan, updated annually, to secure profitable share gain.
  • Align with the HIFE strategy deployment plans, becoming a trusted advisor to the Sales Companies as a priority.
  • Report the sales development and opportunity pipeline development to HIFE management team.
  • Direct and coordinate customer-based activities and strategies with Parker sales organisations and other entities involved in the customer.
  • Communicate customers view of Parker, be an advocate for the customer in all aspects of its business related to filtration and condition monitoring. Work closely with field sales organizations, Product Managers and Engineering to identify customer needs.
  • Lead the blueprinting activities in the market sector.
  • Co-operate with internal counter partners in NA and APAC regions to effectively.

·       Engineering degree along with previous experience in mobile applications

·       Sales experience with international customers

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating both technical and commercial knowledge

·       Ability to work in a highly complex environment with multiple competing priorities and deadlines

·       Fluent in both verbal and written English language skills

·       Ability to think strategically and develop business plans

·       Strongly sales and customer service orientated

·       Presentation skills with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels both internally and externally

·       Travel as required to support the business
