As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for managing and growing existing accounts by ensuring an intimate understanding of their needs so you can proactively partner with them as their premier filter partner.

This role will support the Alberta and Northwest Territories regions.

The successful candidate will have a high degree of professionalism and experience in developing long term relationships.

Requirements:

       Ensures Parker products and services are meeting customer satisfaction levels and resolves conflict issues effectively and efficiently and is a practicing advocate of the Win Strategy

       Offers the customer unique perspectives and knows the individual customer’s value drivers

       Can identify economic drivers of the customer’s business and is comfortable discussing money

       Develop and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of group/divisional products, applications, features, advantages and benefits.  Keeps up with internal and external training and development

       Accompany and assist distributor field sales as required

       Provide product training at the distributor and customer levels.  Motivate and provide sales direction to distributors.  Assist in the conversion of competitive accounts to Parker

       Travel is required approximately 30 to 50% of the time within the territory

Qualifications and Experience:

       Bachelor’s degree in business preferred

       Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience required

       Filtration, B2B or industrial/mining sales experience an asset

       Strong computer skills with proficiency in CRM, Outlook, Excel and Word

       Strong presentation skills with the ability to read the audience and tailor presentation to meet its needs

       Comfortable with cold calling and developing new business

       Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments simultaneously

       Meet appropriate deadlines, be responsive and accessible

       Team player

       Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers

       High degree of emotional intelligence (self-awareness, social skills, empathy, motivation and self-regulation)

       Mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp technical information

       Strong negotiation and influencing skills

       Proven and progressive sales track record

       Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively

       Other spoken/written languages an asset

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in good standing
