Broad responsibility and leadership for the global operation of the Value Stream. Implements the Lean Parker system and generates strategies to ensure a safe work environment, maximize profitable growth, drive quality improvement, provide premier customer service, develop a technically skilled workforce, reduce operating costs, inventories, and lead times through continuous improvements. Monitors day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly expectations.

  • Responsible for safety and driving a zero-accident safety culture
  • Responsible for P&L Value Stream including cost and opportunity analysis, product line margin, PPV targets and manufacturing productivity
  • Responsible for the long-term implementation of POP manufacturing strategies
  • Operational leadership including successful Lean implementation resulting in productivity gains
  • Meets with Value Stream leaders on a regular basis, reflecting on problems, solutions and challenges, creating a culture of continuous improvement and contributing towards a learning-based organization
  • Responsible for Value Stream in daily operations and continuous improvements including but not limited to: supply chain production control, establishing manufacturing priorities, coordinating activities with off-shift management and order of shipments
  • Creates the basis for continuous improvement and empowerment of employees, ensuring that standardized work/processes are followed, countermeasures applied and the area complies with safety requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree / Engineering degree in a discipline related to the industry
  • Masters Degree (Preferably)
  • Fluent English for business conversations
  • Operational / business knowledge
  • + 3 years as an operations manager 
  • Project Management and Administration
