As an HR Manager, you will lead and implement the organization's HR strategies, ensuring alignment with our division's goals through in-depth analysis and a thorough understanding of desired outcomes. Your leadership will be critical in developing a high-performing HR team and fostering employee engagement across all levels of the organization.  This position will have direct reports and reports to the Division HR Manager.

This is a fast paced, three-shift operation at two-sites which requires excellent prioritization and organization skills and a flexible schedule.

Strategic Leadership

  • Leads and implements HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Conducts thorough analyses to understand desired outcomes and measures HR effectiveness.

Team Development

  • Directs, evaluates, and develops a team of HR professionals.
  • Fosters team member engagement through proactive communication, coaching, and training.

Effective Communication

  • Communicates effectively with all levels of the organization using various formats, including PowerPoint presentations, letters, and meetings.
  • Ensures clarity and consistency in messaging across the organization.

Recruitment and Selection

  • Directly or indirectly implements recruitment strategies for both hourly and salaried positions.
  • Leads the recruitment process, including selection and offer extension for open roles.

Performance Management

  • Oversees performance management practices, including policy creation and adherence, and effective performance assessments.
  • Manages corrective action process, and coaches managers on employee relations matters.

Compliance and Training

  • Manages compliance with employment laws and ensures timely administration of training and benefit programs.
  • Reviews and drafts HR procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.

Talent Development

  • Supports the Talent Review process and oversees the development of training offerings.
  • Creates and delivers training content, monitoring its effectiveness for continuous improvement.

Compensation Analysis

  • Actively contributes to the Annual Wage Review process, including data analysis and collaboration on recommendations.
  • Prepares and recommends job offers based on market analysis and internal equity.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven 6-8 years of HR Generalist experience, with a focus on strategic planning and team development and leadership; previous supervisory experience a plus
  • Strong HR Generalist and employment law knowledge and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent prioritization and organization skills with flexibility in schedule.
  • Must be a US Citizen or be a Permanent Resident due to Government Contracts.
