Quality engineer is a member of the quality department and in charge of quality Assurance of in-house manufacturing and sourcing parts, Hydraulics parts and related parts.

Quality engineer works to ensure a product or service provides a high level of quality that meets or exceed customer expectation.

Primary purposes of the job include analyzing root cause, taking corrective action, preventing recurrence and continuous improvement for defective parts with the operation and other teams.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to the following:

-            Improve customer quality and reduce customer complaints.

-            Problem-solving for customer issues by leading a cross-functional team

-            New part approval and 4M change approval from the customer

-            Communicate with inter-companies and suppliers to solve the quality issue

-            Report weekly quality report

Qualifications

-            Korean and English speaking is required

-            Have experience working in the field of quality control/assurance/measurement

-            Have experience in problem-solving for manufacturing issues

-            Have practical knowledge of inspection and quality control.

-            Understand customer drawings, specifications, and requirements.

-            Knowledge of ISO9001/IATF16949 quality management

-            Working experiences in the Hydraulics or Automotive industry.

-            Language skills: Ability to communicate with overseas suppliers and customers.

-            Prefer to have knowledge of the MAN engine products and respond to maritime classification society inspection.

-            Prefer to can manage an inspection plan and certificates, and communicate to customers related to the maritime classification.
