At Parker Lord, safety is our top priority, and we are seeking an organized and driven Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to uphold this commitment. In this pivotal role, you and your team will create and manage programs that ensure the health and safety of our team members and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage all health, safety, and environmental programs.
  • Act as a communication link with regulatory agencies, customers, and local emergency services.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives in alignment with Parker Corporate goals.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in an EHS function within a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations relevant to the chemical industry.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ten years of industrial experience as an EHS professional.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Advanced degree (Master’s) in Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, or Safety Management.
  • Certifications such as 40-Hour Hazardous Material Technician (HAZMAT) and 40-Hour Landfill Safety (HAZWOPR) as well as familiarity with ISO14001.
