Role Summary

Here at Parker Meggitt, we’re recruiting for a solid Engineering Manager to lead our Gas Turbine Fluid Systems Division Engineering Team at Ansty Park. You’ll lead the team through day-to-day activities for production programs and R&D projects as well as strategy development.

In this role you’ll work you’ll be responsible for a team of 25+ engineers, including multiple disciplines and test engineering.

Core Responsibilities

  • Attending Site Leadership Team (SLT) meetings & ‘Run The Business’ meetings
  • Aligning priorities for the Ansty Park engineering teams both in resource & budget
  • Serving as a mentor within the facility and model leadership behaviours
  • Working with the division on strategy for achieving financial and technical growth objectives
  • Escalating appropriate problems with solutions to varying leaders
  • Thinking strategically on alignment between technology and division roadmaps
  • Mentoring and guiding development discussions for engineers at all levels

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Extensive experience in engineering
  • Significant people leadership experience

Desirable:

  • Advanced degree in related field
  • MBA or equivalent
