Responsible for digital marketing efforts related to implementation and on-going maintenance of the WebSphere platform for e-business. Provides support for the processes used to implement and/or maintain data and procedures.
Testing:
- Ability to create a test plan to thoroughly test all aspects of the website
- Execute test plan and track progress
- Assist in the design and implementation of a defect management tracking process
Requirement Identification (Design):
- Ability to WebSphere data maintenance tasks such as the following: Making edits to product content, attributes, attribute values, short/long description, images, literature links, CAD file links, etc.
- Implementing new features like Cross/Up-Sell, Product Associations, etc.
- Adding / removing product series from taxonomy nodes
- Leverage and maintain an Operational Guide to be used to maintain product content within divisions
- Educate teams on WebSphere features Parker should be using today
- Ability to author clear, concise, unambiguous design specifications for technical team members and/or business focused team members to consume
- Train team members on activities to train, mentor, and transfer knowledge
Project Management / Roll-Out Procedures:
- Help develop a prioritized list of issues/tasks to provide to Corporate e-Business / Information Technology
- Provide status reports/presentations of assigned tasks on a regular cadence
- Generate status report for simple projects to identify accomplishments, tasks in progress, issues, risks, status of major tasks, by division or logical groups
Global Responsibilities:
- Ability to author functional design specification document that can be comprehended by business team members and technical team members to effectively communicate design considerations in an eBusiness environment
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and experience in partnering with marketing teams in a matrixed organization; demonstrate ability with working with cross functional groups
- Demonstration strong analytic skills and ability to product example test plans demonstrating ability to test whether system features meet expected results
- Ability to contribute to fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-based environment
- Ability to lead multiple divisions, globally, through project implementation phases to help coordinate activities to generate improved content and/or consistent experiences
- 4-year undergraduate degree required in technical field, engineering, or business
- 5-7 years of experience working with WebSphere administration functions or similar eCommerce platform
- 5-7 years of experience in rolling out processes/procedures in an e-Business environment to a global team
- Willingness to travel to division locations, not expected to exceed four times annually
