This position is supporting the Hydraulic Rotary Actuator business unit in Enumclaw, WA. This product is used in a variety of industries such as; mining, mobile aerial work platforms (MEWPs), marine and military.

Manage and expand technical expertise in machining, welding, gear cutting, assembly, test, paint, surface preparation, etc. in support of manufacturing operations as well as new product process development, costing and systems documentation. Oversee the tooling department and ensure timely delivery of quality fixtures and prototypes.

Required Skills/Qualifications • BSME or related BS-Engineering degree and 10 years minimum related experience • **Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR)**. Candidates must meet Federal definition of "US Person". • Manufacturing Engineering management in heavy machining environment – 5 years minimum Preferred Skills / Experience • CNC programming of lathes, mills and related machinery • Welding (MIG/TIG) experience, preferably familiar with AWS D1.1 • Gear/Spline cutting experience; including shaping and hobbing • Safety system design and management including support of EHS team • Lean manufacturing and Six-Sigma (process capability) including SPC • Cost estimating new product and revisions • Routing / process sequence standard work documentation • Proficient in SolidWorks • Hydraulics manufacturing and cleanliness • Project management and proficient in multitasking • Surface preparation and coating (cleaning, blasting, painting, etc.) • Tooling sourcing, procurement and management • Research and prepare capital acquisition requests (AFE) for the plant requirements
