Conducts chemical and physical laboratory tests of solid materials and analyzes test data.

Lab Testing Responsibilities Develop and implement systems, procedures, practices, to test, records, retrieve, and monitor all necessary test data. Gage Pack Responsibilities Calibrates internal gages and maintains internal and external calibration in Gage Pack. Maintain and ship all external calibrations that have to be returned to manufacturers. Enterprise System Run reports and maintain specs as needed for Enterprise system. Mill and Samples Responsibilities Mill and mold samples as needed. Test batches as needed. Create, maintain, and revise batch release sheets to completion and then enter, scan, and file batch release sheets. Retrieve retest samples from rejected batches. Mix mill VW252 batches on every new lot of MB5840 polymer (QC Checks for Livingston) Other duties, as assigned Mix paint for PSDM Mix Mill other experimental batches for Lexington as needed Retrieve and ship raw materials for other divisions as needed. All other assignments as needed by Lebanon, Livingston, or Lexington.

High school diploma, or GED, required. BS Degree preferred At least 5 years’ experience in a lab testing environment preferred. Exceptional people skills, along with excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft (Word, Excel), e-mail and internet. Must be able to problem solve and coordinate in a multi-task environment
