Automation Engineering • Programming and Modifying PLC\CNC\other automation firmware • Experience in participating with ME\AEs efforts to instrument, extend existing automation • Experience in participating with ME\AEs adding new-to-operations automation and collecting data Industrial Networking • Experience in architecting, deploying Industrial Networks for Factory Automation (Cisco Industrial Series, Converged Ethernet architecture preferred) in large organizations • Experience in selecting, advising ME\AEs on fit to purpose industrial networking • Experience in partnering with networking, security, security, and engineering teams to deliver networking, security offerings. Data Collection\Edge Leadership • Experience in identifying, designing, and implementing systems that collect data from operations and make available for use on the shopfloor and at the enterprise • Experience in integrating with a wide range of systems, both at an operational technology and information technology level • Experience in one or more the following product families o Kepware o Litmus Automation o Inductive Automation o PISoft o Other Historians, SCADA, and DCS systems Project Management • Experience leading large-scale software or automation projects, that would including o Site surveys o Vendor RFQs o Integrations o Business Critical operations • Managing project budget, timelines • Managing conflicting priorities or technology\architecture desires of multiple teams, leading to the delivery of solutions onto common technology standards Position Summary: Develop and manage Information Technology projects in the support of the development and/or implementation of Information Technology systems and services. Scope/Supervision and Interaction: ___ Has Direct Reports __X__ Does Not Have Direct Reports* *This position may supervise others at the discretion of the division. Leads Technical Analysts and Senior Technical Analysts. Collaborates with Group, Division and Corporation Information Technology staff. Supports working relationships with suppliers, customers and operating units. Essential Functions: - Define and document the scope of Information Technology related projects offering direction and support to team members for project completion. - Establishes and develops procedures for proper utilization of technology related to business and opportunities . - Develop detailed task lists, timelines and resource budgets to complete projects. Align resources to tasks to accomplish projects. - Communicate projects status to key personnel including project stakeholders, decision makers, sponsors and project team members on a periodic basis. Provide monthly management reporting on the status of all projects. - Provide an effective project close/transition at the completion of the scope of projects. - Actively encourages the development and mentoring of team members. - Identify and communicate recommendations for new or improved business systems or services within the Enterprise framework to support the business units. - Champion and promote the availability and resources of the Enterprise systems and services related to better effectiveness and efficiencies. - Analyze, design, configure, code, test and document Advanced IT application systems including Client server, Mobile and Web enabled technologies. - Demonstrate the ability to work and adapt to new technologies including: .NET, Java, SQL, HTML, XML, Oracle/Siebel, IBM Sterling, and IBM DataStage. Qualifications:-4 year University / College Degree - 5 years of related experience. - Knowledge of commensurate technology for assigned area of responsibility. - Demonstrated ability to lead teams. - Demonstrated managerial potential. - Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
