Assists the Value Stream Team Leader/Manager with the daily activities of their shift. Helps assure the shift is functioning at the highest levels possible and helps communicate the daily, weekly and monthly requirements and expectations of the facility. The Lead will be involved in most of the aspects of running the operations of the shift they are assigned. They will be involved with safety, communications, training and development, lean, (HPT) high performance teams, tracking and audits, continuous improvement efforts and scheduling. They will provide valuable feedback to Supervisors and Managers regarding performance of the work stream and the progress of employees within the facility.

1. Performs warehouse duties and ensures standard work process is followed in a Work Center team environment 2. Operates and trains other Associates on manufacturing equipment operation, including set up. 3. Performs daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment 4. Collects and tracks measurements on cell tracking center 5. Responds to and resolves quality and technical questions 6. Communicates and updates Work Center Team on order status 7. Conducts in process inspection and enters work order data into router 8. Accounts for and properly disposes of scrap 9. Communicates work flow problems, equipment and staffing needs to Production Manager 10. Understands and supports Corporate initiatives such as LEAN 11. Exercise good housekeeping in work area 5S plus Safety 12. Rotates jobs and backs up other positions as required 13. Overtime as deemed necessary

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent 1. Demonstrated knowledge of Warehouse operations, Standard Work, 5S, Lean and equipment operation and set up 2. Good math and measuring skills, including the ability to convert fractions and decimals 3. Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills 4. Strong communication and problem solving skills
