SUMMARY Broad responsibility and leadership of Human Resources (HR) team at the Fluid Systems Division site in Irvine, California. Accountable for employee relations, talent acquisition, training, development, affirmative action, compensation, safety, and other HR related areas. Serves as the primary advisor to site staff on administration of programs and systems and provides interface to customer, external agencies, or corporate as required. Provides leadership to other team leaders and professional staff. Revenue guidelines, division staff and/or functional responsibilities, qualifications and factors such as business and customer complexity are used in determining the appropriate grade level of individual team leader positions.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Strategic partner supporting site leadership teams; conduct leadership and team training; provide individual coaching; provide innovative solutions and results based approach in supporting site leadership. • Lead HR team in providing business partner support; provide development, training, and coaching. • Promote change and innovative HR services and processes; present change agent ideas with the ability to influence, along with obtaining leadership and team member buy-in. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or related discipline. Master's Degree Preferred. Ten or more years of major professional accomplishments, including increasing responsibility and overall leadership of projects and teams for five or more years. Demonstrated ability to perform the described role and responsibilities and achieve the desired results Broad knowledge of human resource processes administration and applicable government laws and regulations. Must have experience leading a performance management and talent development process. Demonstrated excellence in project management, communication, influencing and interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate large groups of people at all levels of the organization. Personal integrity; exceptional communications skills; ability to build strong relationships. Client–Service Orientation An optimistic, solutions oriented, accountable leadership style balanced with a practical approach is critical. Experience in maintaining a nonunion presence or in the administration of a collective bargaining agreement including grievance investigation, responses and participation in contract negotiations desirable.
