POSITION SUMMARY: Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as injection molding machines, mold heaters, sprue pickers, conveyors, dryers, grinders, and loaders. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance to injection molding machines. 2. Repair auxiliary equipment such as mold heaters, material dryers, sprue pickers, dryers, loaders, grinders and parts conveyors by dismantling, cleaning and replacing worn or defective parts and assemblies. 3. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove and replace any defective parts. 4. May be required to research part availability and initiates purchase order for needed repair parts. 5. Perform preventive maintenance and repair on all equipment related to Injection Molding. 6. Perform building maintenance as required. 7. Support continuous improvement through LEAN and HPT. 8. At times, overtime will be required.

1. Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2. Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, basic electrical, and PLC logic is preferred. 3. Injection molding industry experience preferred. 4. Strong communications and troubleshooting skills. Physical Requirements: Constantly (5-8hrs/shift): Standing/Walking Frequently (2-5hrs/shift): Bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling, fine motor tasks Occasionally (Up to 2 hrs/shift): Repetitive motions, driving, sitting, climbing, lifting up to 100 lbs
