Through the people professionals who work within it, the HR function helps Parker deliver its corporate strategy and objectives by effectively recruiting and developing people and managing their performance covering the entire employee life cycle. Parker's Corporate Human Resource function plays an integral in supporting people initiatives at Parker's Global Headquarters, which enables the operations of the diverse businesses Parker operates worldwide.
With supervision, coordinates and administers HR programs across the span of HR areas. Scope/Supervision and Interaction: No direct reports. Reports to Corporate HR Manager Responsibilities: • Corporate Payroll support • Team member information data entry and auditing • Filing – create and maintain personnel files as well as transfer Team Member personnel files as needed • Process paperwork for terminations and transfers • New Hire Support – Complete background checks, send and collect required new hire documentation, complete everify process, organize and lead New Hire Orientation • Complete Employment verifications • Interfaces with functional leaders and managers on openings, including posting roles, and supporting interview and selection process; • Coordination of corporate sponsored training • Address moderately complex questions by Managers and Team Members • Administrative support to the Human Resources department
• High school graduate or equivalent • Administrative experience in Human Resources • PC background – Excel, Windows, PowerPoint, Access • Demonstrated written/verbal communication skills • Excellent demonstrated customer/client relations skills • Strong change management skills
