Industrial Gas Filtration and Generation Division, Parker Hannifin Corp, specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of compressed air & gas treatment, on-site gas generation systems and clean air solutions.

Provides accounting services for a plant. Complies and prepares analysis and reports of accounting activity and data. Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reconciliations. Functional responsibility includes reconciliation to the general ledger as well as to Payroll and HRIS reports, preparation of external reports and tax filings, and recording of journal vouchers. Assure that internal controls, Parker policy and regulatory compliance are maintained.

__ Has Direct Reports __X__ Does Not Have Direct Reports Scope of responsibilities includes contact with Parker and third-party vendors, communication with departmental staff, division controllers and Accounting staff. Essential Functions: Monthly closing, journal entries and reconciliation Ensure company compliance with our internal controls based on Parker Policies and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Assist with budgeting. Assist with inventory audits and documentation Prepare monthly reports and analysis for the division and corporate Fixed asset capitalizations, retirements, and audit procedures Budget preparation and ongoing review Intercompany reconciliation Backup for submitting weekly payroll Development of financial and statistical information to enable Business Unit personnel better control operations Prepares and distributes Daily Dollars Report Assist with maintenance and review of internal policies and procedures manual, including writing policies and procedures for their own duties Assist with maintaining record retention per policies and procedures Participate in Parker and division initiatives with Lean, Supply Chain, etc

B.S. degree in accounting or equivalent 1-3 years accounting experience Excellent PC software and communication skills
