This position is responsible for the efficient and user-focused operation of all hardware, software, communication systems and system security for the Industrial Process Filtration Division.

•Resolve all assigned MIS Service Request (MSR) work-orders in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining communication with the end user, supervisor and co-workers, as required. ServiceNow experience preferred. •Record and maintain MSR documentation, to include problem and solution. •Configure routers, switches, VoIP phones, mobile devices, wireless access points, servers, and PCs to support day-to-day activities. Cisco and Fortigate certification preferred. •Maintain equipment logbooks (servers, firewall, routers, switches, etc.) ensuring they are always up-to-date including configuration information, reported trouble, and any changes made to equipment, programs or operating system settings. •Maintain accurate IT equipment and software inventory records. •Maintain current network diagrams. •Help evaluate new hardware and software; advise on hardware and software alternatives; recommend standards for selection of software. Prepare AFEs for major purchases and demonstrate the ROI and justification on hardware/software purchases, as needed. •Assist and back up infrastructure team (helpdesk, PC support, etc.) Set up PC, server and printer equipment and upgrade, as required. Install software on servers and PCs, as required. •Manage ISP/Telecom providers and add/move/change orders. •WAN/LAN add/move/change orders. •Support and maintain access control systems. •Support and maintain video camera systems. •Instruct users on proper system procedures and operations. Respond to user requests for service; troubleshoot problems and develop solutions; make minor repairs to equipment and arrange for outside service support as needed. •Provide assistance to, and train, users on network operations and available network resources. Write necessary user instructions. •Communicate, in advance, changes that may affect performance or result in system downtime. Confer with user departments concerning their operations and needs. •Keep current on technology advances in PC and Network equipment. •Ensure operating systems (Windows), VMWare, firewalls (Fortigate/Cisco ASA) and backup systems (SEP, Veeam) are patched to current security releases. •Maintain DR plan and perform annual DR testing. •Prepare required SOX documents for review and approval. •Participate in special projects (HPT, Star Points, Kaizens, Etc.) •Perform other tasks, as assigned by Supervisor. •Ensure that work, stocking, staging and storage areas are safe and clean.

•Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical training certification preferred •At least 7 years hands-on with PC’s, servers and network hardware. •Skilled in the application of Microsoft Windows software systems and experience in Windows 10, VMWare and WIFI. •Information systems analysis, design and development. •Certification in Windows a plus. •Knowledge of network concepts, such as, bridges, routers, and local and wide area networking protocols. •Cisco VoIP experience. •Ability to apply advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and implement and recommend solutions. •Ability to work in a team environment.
