The Marketing Communications Manager will be part of the global marketing team, which unites deep market knowledge, vast experience in Life Sciences and a collaborative culture to deliver the solutions that our customers need to achieve their scientific goals. As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will contribute to the “go-to-market” strategy and be responsible for creating a marketing plan and developing the tasks and collateral to execute on the plan. Tasks will include creating and maintaining: web content, AdWords campaigns, organic SEO, sales and marketing materials including application notes, customer case studies, customer facing presentations and social media campaigns. You will work closely with an interdepartmental team to accomplish above. The position is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong analytical background and experience in Marketing. The candidate should have demonstrated financial and business acumen with a high level of curiosity about customers’ needs to be able to promote value-based solutions using the PPF technology. The successful candidate should be a creative and resourceful team player who demonstrates strategic agility, structured thinking, and intellectual curiosity with the ability to deal with ambiguity and translate complex concepts into actionable insights while utilizing a collaborative approach, across matrixed organizations with multiple global cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Pricing, Applications, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement).

• Optimize web functionality for the Division websites while maintaining compliance to Corporate standards. • Create an integrated marketing plan that coordinates all outbound marketing material • Develop and maintain a marketing calendar of activities to support the plan • Create a concise value-proposition statement for each product line in given markets • Drive communication and activities associated with product launches, promotion, and placement • Coordinate and create compelling social media content and blog posts • Create and maintain web content in CMS • Create and maintain Google Adwords campaigns and ensure site is optimized for organic SEO • Create and maintain: datasheets, brochures white papers, application notes, case histories (in print and digital format) and associated images and videos • Create outbound campaigns to targeted customers using Sales Navigator • Manage marketing collateral, including conformance to established brand guidelines and high-quality standards, and providing great “out-of-the-box” user experience • Manage customer master database while ensuring data integrity. • Direct and manage Division trade show activities. • Understand & interpret e-Business trends for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and e-Configurator and other Parker e-Business Tools • Interface with distribution channel on promotional needs. • Evaluate and select outside vendors for graphic design and pre-press production on basis of competence and cost-effectiveness; monitor their work. • Develop and manage Division promotions budgets. • Ability and willingness to travel in support of assignments (up to 10%)

Required Competencies • Strong project management/organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects • Strategic planning & tactical execution skills • Working expertise in integrated communication activities and processes • Ability to use data analytics to drive and track various marketing programs • Strong writing capability to create and edit marketing collateral based upon value proposition • Working knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint). • Thorough knowledge of and hands-on skill and experience in graphic design and print production • Strong capabilities in web and social media • Understanding of customer value proposition based on customer, the relevant market and the primary needs and drivers of the customers and prospects • Know-how in the areas of business-to-business marketing • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills • Strong presentation skills for both internal and external customers • Ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-departmental team • Ability to set and meet deadlines Required Education • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing • MBA or equivalent advanced business training beneficial Desirable Skills and Experience • 5+ years’ experience in marketing and communications • Experience developing and executing marketing plans • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Google Adwords & Analytics and LinkedIn Sales Navigator • Professional experience with industrial products beneficial
