Position Summary

This role will require a high level of interaction with the business, internal teams and our key business partners to deliver solutions that meet our customers’ needs and protect the Parker network from cyber threats. There will also be an expectation to share technical support responsibilities across a variety of technical cyber security solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform the most complex system analysis that includes requirements definition, interfacing with users and providing cost and benefit analysis.
  • Research and implement innovative solution to support the ongoing requirements of the business.
  • Create standards for I/T systems and services to provide flexibility and maintainability.
  • Continually research and enhance existing portfolio to take advantage of new features.
  • Provide resolution of critical situation technical problems.
  • Provide information to be used to promote the understanding and benefit of technology systems.
  • Identify deficiencies in networking security systems and recommend solutions/improvements.
  • Manage complex projects across teams. Engage with members of the project team and division staff.
  • Follow the Change Management process to ensure all changes are planned, communicated and documented.
  • Develop and manage long-term information technology project plans and schedules.
  • Prepare and give technical presentations to the team, or customers.
  • Serve as technical subject expert and resource on all areas relevant to position. Share specialised knowledge with others and represents the company on specific projects.
  • Ensure network security equipment at core data centers is current and appropriately supported.
  • Contribute in natural and virtual cyber security teams to influence various projects and programs.
  • Participate in Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) activities.

    Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science (or related area) required.
  • 2+ years’ experience within Information Technology industry required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in global company preferred.
  • Previous network security experience preferred.
  • Must have demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking/problem solving skills.
  • A strong desire to work and grow in a cyber security career
